Taiwan Travel Diary: A Journey of Food, Scenery, and Warmth

My trip to Taiwan has come to an end, and looking back, every moment was filled with wonderful memories. From the bustling city of Taipei to the laid-back charm of Taichung, every stop along the way was truly unforgettable!

📍 Taipei – A City of Modernity and Tradition

My first stop was Taipei! The majestic Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, the towering Taipei 101, and the spiritual Longshan Temple showcased the city’s unique blend of history and modernity. At night, Ximending came alive with street performances, trendy shops, and an exciting atmosphere.

🌟 Must-Visit Spots:
Shilin Night Market – From giant fried chicken cutlets to oyster omelets and bubble tea, every bite was heavenly!
Elephant Mountain – Hiking up for a panoramic sunset view of Taipei 101 was absolutely breathtaking!

📍 Taichung – A Relaxing Escape

Leaving the fast-paced city behind, I arrived in Taichung, where the slower rhythm of life was a refreshing change. Rainbow Village was like stepping into a colorful painting, while Gaomei Wetlands offered one of the most stunning sunset views I’ve ever seen.

🌟 Must-Visit Spots:
Miyahara Ice Cream – Famous for its rich and unique flavors, definitely worth the long queue!
Fengjia Night Market – One of the largest night markets in Taiwan, filled with incredible street food.

Every day in Taiwan was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. Beyond the breathtaking scenery and delicious food, what truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the people. Taiwan, I’ll definitely be back!
