Batam Ferry Checklist: Four Things to Confirm Before Departure
For a trip from Singapore’s HarbourFront to Gold Coast terminal in Bengkong, first check the departure terminal, operator, travel date and time on your ticket. BatamFast’s schedule effective 17 September 2026 lists a 09:35 HarbourFront–Gold Coast service. Schedules may change, so rely on the sailing available at booking and the operator’s latest notice.
Second, confirm the current check-in counter. BatamFast announced a HarbourFront counter relocation in July 2026. An older itinerary or screenshot may show an outdated location. Follow your ticket and the operator’s latest instructions, allowing time for check-in.
Third, check Indonesian entry requirements for each traveller’s passport and status. Singapore permanent residency and passport nationality are different, so do not assume that everyone in a group has the same visa or visa-free eligibility. Review passport validity, return travel and any supporting documents before departure.
Fourth, give your hotel or transfer provider the exact arrival and return terminals. Batam has several ferry terminals; “Batam ferry terminal” alone is not enough for reliable pickup arrangements. Contact Shanda Travel for a tailored ferry, hotel and sightseeing enquiry.
